Spellbinders | December 19th Blog Hop

Hello, lovelies! Today I'm honored to be a guest for Spellbinders September 19th Blog Hop. Today I am featuring the Destinations China collection by Lene Lok.

If you want you can check all the new arrivals too!

You should have arrived from Tina Smith's blog.

Today I am showing you an interactive flipping card with Chinese Coin Window Dies and Lucky Clouds Background dies from the Destinations China collection by Lene Lok. You can find all the used supplies below.

I started working on my project by Die-cutting. I run the Chinese Coin Window Dies four times. I adhered a strong fishing line between the coin diecuts, this is a very important part, because my shiny coin will gyrate when I will open my card.

The next step was to diecut the window on a 5,5"x4,24" white cardstock. For the window I used the circle die from the Chinese Coin Window Die set. When it was done, I made it again on the front of my 8,5"x5,5" card base.

When it was done I made a dry embossing with Lucky Clouds Background dies and my Deep Sea Diecut Machine (You will need the wizard embossing pad) and when it was done I adhered the fishing lines inside the card, covered the inside with my second cardstock and yay the flipping coin was ready!

The next step was the sentiment. I stamped three times the greetings sentiment from Merry Mail stamp set from Scrapbook.com with watermark ink, and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. When it was done I made a diecut with the little square die and adhered inside my card.

In the end I iced the dry embossed card front with Nuvo Glitter Drops. I used the shade Honey Gold and my card was ready. Hope you enjoyed my no coloring card! Come back later soon! :)

Your next stop on the hop is the talented Ilda Dias!
